Maui
DreamCamp - The First Day (1)
I really tried hard:
Counting myself to sleep and maintaining awareness. But I was simply too tired.
One more illustration, that enough sleep is important for gaining or preserving
lucidity. So I wake 0830. Rise - still drowsy - and there are all these people,
I don't know. And I am to take my shoes off??
Shoes and worries and toilet
Is this a false awakening? Am I still dreaming? The writing near the toilet door stays stable. Seems to be the real thing.
Our room (Wilson's place is up there)
I returned to my room, tried to write down dreams, but I couldn't remember any. I tried fishing - an important technique for recalling dreams, but it didn't work this time. Seemingly overmotivated... and maybe the jet -lag is to blame. So I imagine, what I could have dreamed and write that down. Another basic technique to increase dream - recall.
Then we had a first inofficial congregation in the dining - place, one of the most enjoyable rooms here (at least for me...) The staff self - introduced with the first of the many most - delicious meals.
Here you see some early -
arrived members of the very special gang, that is addicted to lucid dreaming.
Robert in the left upper corner, then in the left lower corner Wilson, at the
end of the table Jerry, on the other side Hermine, Joan and Toko Pa.
The workshop was to start in the late afternoon, so we had time to explore the lovely outer Maui realms before directing the search into the inner realms.
